Bye Bye Hair

It happened all of a sudden, but a few days ago Izzy's hair really started to fall out. Kerri would run her hands through Izzy's hair, and it would come out by the handful. Today it started to look extremely wispy. So with the incentive of going to buy a toy, Izzy had us shave it off. She looks way cute. Her new look was definitely a shocker for us. But we knew that she would take her reactionary cue from us so we've been telling her how cute she looks non-stop. Here are some photos of her new look and some of the hair alternatives. Thank goodness she has her mom's shapely skull.

She is so dang cute!!! It must be tough to have so many physical changes from the treatments. I love seeing that green bar on the right growing longer and longer. Love you!

We were just talking the other day about her hair still being in tact. I guess it was expected. She does look great, doesn't she?

When Fiona lost her hair, someone in our ward threw her a hat party! It was the best thing ever. There are some ladies who said it was the best party they had ever been to. She got so many hats. Her hair is back in now and since we are moving, we have no use for the cold weather ones. Email me through my blog if you want us to send them to you! Fiona only wore them last winter.

I just checked the blog for the first time in several weeks. Wow! Pretty cool head, Izzy. We're so happy that she is almost through the worst part of this hellish process. We hope you guys are enjoying the fall! We miss October in Michigan--and you guys too, of course ;)

She looks so darling! (And I'm happy to see some meat on her bones too.) So glad the end of October is fast approaching, and we hope things continue to go well for all of you!

Izzy is a doll!! Is her birthday coming soon? Haley would love to get her something. She needs to keep warm as Michigan is very windy.

Our whole family admires Izzy!

Izzy is darling without hair. I am really getting used to Kate's bald head and can't stop kissing it to! I can hardly wait for the end of delayed intensificaion and the beginning of maintenance. Should be so much better! We are always thinking of you guys and sending prayers your way.
Love,
The Hansens

Hi!

I'm not sure if you remember me, but I volunteered in the infusion clinic with Sheila, the Child Life Specialist this past summer and played games with the kids..

It's so good to see Izzy doing so well and looking absolutely adorable!! Keep up that shining smile, Izzy!
